While the basic game of online Texas Hold'em is the same as live versions, there are some differences when you play on the Internet.
The biggest difference in the game is that you cannot see your opponents. Most online Texas Hold'em games have chat functionality so that players can interact. However, chat does not usually provide the information about other players' hands that their facial expressions, body language and other tells may. Of course, if you have a less than stellar poker face this can work to your advantage, since in online Texas Hold'em the other players cannot see you either!
